Music

So I'm sure it's not that big of a deal but I finally have music on my blog. I have been going to a freinds blog and listening to all her great music and she finally told me how to do it. (Even though she didn't want to). I asked her cause I knew she would be able to tell me so I could understand and it worked thanks Amanda. Anyways, I hope you enjoy the music

Rock'n and Roll'n with my Brother

Finally-
The rock band Boston finally came back in concert last night. Growing up my dad use to listen to their music all the time. He would tell stories of when he went and saw them in concert and how good it was. A few years after my dad died Boston came to concert down to Orem, Well I was able to talk my brother in to going with me down to the concert. We were both so excited to see them, well we got all the way down there with tickets in hand to find out the show had been cancelled. We were both really upset cause who knows if they will ever come back I mean they are a old band and could break up anytime. Well they didn't break up but their leader singer committed suicide just a few years ago. After hearing that I thought there is no way I would get to see them. Well I was wrong a few months ago my sister Staci called and said "did you hear who is coming in concert Boston" so right away I started looking for tickets and found that they were coming to Wendover.
So, with the remodel of my basement comes a lot of work and I am having a lot of tile work done so I thought to myself I really don't want to go to Boston by myself and this would be a good way to tell my brother(who's doing the tile work) thanks for all the help he has been and thanks for doing all the tile work. So, I planned it I bought 2 tickets online for Boston. As the time came closer I thought this also would be a good time for a little brother bonding not that we really need it cause we talk to each other almost every day but still just hanging out with my bro.
So.. What a GREAT night. We left my house at like 4:45- 5 ish and started to Wendover we listened to Boston the whole way there and talked about how much we loved the songs. We got to Wendover and picked up our tickets it was 6:30 and the show started at 8. I was lucky enough to have a coupon(cause I gamble a little and cause I'm cheap) for a buy one get one free buffet at the golden nugget. When we got there and started to walk in we kind of joked around with Boston songs.
The fan on my car keeps going after I turn the car off. I told him this and he said well its like cool the engines and I said well I think it more then a feeling(both Boston songs) we went back and forth using the song titles to finish our sentences. So, anyways we get up to the buffet and BAM steak night buffet(does it get any better?). We ate our fill of steak and other good food and headed to the concert. I thought we had great sits just off to the side about half way up. The guy next to me in his late 50's said " half these people here aren't old enough to be here" my response " well we just had good dads that taught us what good music is" he laugh and then the concert began. They played for about 1:45 playing of course all the good ones More then a feeling, Don't look back, Smokin, Amanda, Cool the engines and a lot more. My throat is sore this morning from yelling.
So we headed home one of my best friends and I use to stop on our way home from Wendover and look up at the stars cause it usually is so dark out there. So sense I haven't done that in a while I asked Jason if it was OK. We stopped and looked up at the sky for a few minutes and then headed home. I couldn't help but wish and think I wish we could of done this with dad and maybe he is looking down on us. We headed for home what a fun night we also saw something like a shooting star or a meteor of something fall from the sky and that was cool.
I think we both had a really fun night my brother and I.
Thanks Jason for being my big brother and helping with all I ask you to.
